IIM SKILLS – Job Guarantee Consent & Policy Agreement
This Consent & Policy Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between:
IIM SKILLS, a registered educational institution offering online professional courses (hereinafter referred to as “IIM SKILLS” or the “Institute”),
AND
The undersigned student (hereinafter referred to as the “Student” or “Participant”).
By enrolling in a Job Guarantee Course offered by IIM SKILLS, the Student agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Job Guarantee Clause
1.1 IIM SKILLS provides a 100% Job Guarantee upon successful completion of certain designated courses.
1.2 In the event IIM SKILLS is unable to facilitate job placement within 12 months from the date of course completion, the Student will be eligible for a 50% refund of the course fee (subject to the conditions outlined below).
2. Definition of “Placement”
2.1 Placement will be deemed fulfilled if the Student obtains a job offer through any of the following means:
- IIM SKILLS Placement Cell or HR consultants
- IIM SKILLS Job Portal
- External job platforms (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn etc.)
- Direct self-application using skills gained in the course
2.2 Geographical location of the job is not restricted to the Student’s current city or country of residence. Placement in any location worldwide will be considered valid.
3. Eligibility Criteria for Refund
To be eligible for the refund under the job guarantee, the Student must:
- Complete 100% of the course curriculum
- Submit all assignments, projects, and assessments on time
- Maintain 90% attendance in live sessions, workshops, and activities
- Participate in all evaluations, tests, mock interviews, and job fairs
- Apply for at least 20 job opportunities through the placement portal
- Attend all placement-related activities (resume building, feedback sessions, etc.)
- Demonstrate active participation, availability, and communication skills during the placement process
Failure to meet any of the above requirements voids the refund eligibility.
4. Non-Refund Scenarios
The following circumstances shall disqualify a Student from the refund:
- Refusal of job opportunities for any reason, including location, salary, job profile, or type of employer (including startups, MSMEs, etc.)
- Failure to attend interviews, respond to placement communications, or maintain professional conduct
- Corporate-sponsored enrollments
- Incomplete fee payments or default on installment plans
- Lack of communication or presentability during interviews
- Withdrawal after refund deadline or voluntary exit from the course
- Market downturns or recession periods, during which IIM SKILLS may extend placement timelines indefinitely
5. Additional Policies
5.1 Attendance & Participation
- Students must maintain 90% attendance in live classes and scheduled sessions.
- Pre-approved absences must be supported by valid documentation (e.g., medical certificate).
5.2 Timely Submission
- All course tasks must be submitted on or before deadlines.
- Extensions granted only in exceptional cases with facilitator approval.
5.3 Mandatory Evaluation
- Participation in all tests, assessments, and reviews is compulsory.
- Underperformance may result in the requirement to attend remedial classes.
5.4 Code of Conduct
- Respectful and professional behavior is expected at all times.
- Misconduct, harassment, or abuse will result in expulsion with no refund.
5.5 Intellectual Honesty
- All work submitted must be original.
- Plagiarism or cheating will result in termination from the program.
5.6 Availability & Commitment
- Students must allocate sufficient time for sessions, assignments, and discussions.
- Participation in forums and doubt-clearing sessions is mandatory.
5.7 Payment Terms
- Full payment or adherence to the approved installment plan is mandatory.
- Non-payment results in suspension of access and job guarantee privileges.
5.8 No Refund Policy (Post Deadline)
- Once the refund policy deadline is passed, no refund is applicable, regardless of performance or participation.
5.9 Technical Requirements
- Students must have access to a working device, internet, and required tools.
- IIM SKILLS is not liable for technical disruptions from the Student’s side.
5.10 Confidentiality Agreement
- Course content, recordings, and proprietary material must not be shared.
- Breach of this clause may result in legal action.
5.11 Feedback & Mentoring
- Students must attend and act upon feedback sessions for continuous improvement.
5.12 Health & Emergency
- Any emergency must be communicated to course coordinators promptly.
- Leave may be granted for valid, documented reasons only.
5.13 Disclaimer of Liability
- IIM SKILLS does not guarantee a job if the Student underperforms in interviews or fails to meet employer expectations.
- The job guarantee is subject to market conditions and Student participation.
5.14 Policy Amendments
- IIM SKILLS reserves the right to modify policies, course content, or terms at any time, with prior notice.
5.15 Grievance Redressal
- All concerns must be submitted through the official grievance portal.
- Complaints will be resolved within 7 business days, and the decision will be final.
5.16 Termination Clause
- IIM SKILLS reserves the right to terminate a Student’s enrollment for:
- Consistent underperformance
- Breach of policy or misconduct
- Violation of any clause in this Agreement
6. Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
